Can I work with you?

Tell me more about you and why I should buy LPC Answered?

We write a range of study notes for the GDL and LPC. We wrote our first set of notes in 2012 and have been growing ever since. We've now trade under a company as Law Answered, and continue to constantly update our notes with new law and feedback from students at top law schools such as BPP and UoL. We used these notes to gain distinctions and training contracts at top firms – we think that our guides will help you too.

Our guides were either written by us or by other top students whom we've commissioned. All of our guides are thoroughly checked and re-checked and we keep any eye on changes to the law on a daily basis. We regularly ask current or recently-graduated students to check over our various guides on a regular basis and we update our guides based on their comments and any changes to the law that we find. Rest assured that each guide goes through a thorough and constant quality-checking process - although of course we cannot guarantee that an occasional error will not slip through the net.

Are your notes suitable for my law school?

All of our notes were written, checked and/or updated by current and former students at BPP, the University of Law or Kaplan. Each guide goes through a comprehensive process to ensure that it covers as much of the material for each module in as many ways as possible. Our aim is for every guide to be as suitable to as many law schools as possible – we think writing comprehensive guides is better than writing individual guides to each law school. However, we can't guarantee that every single topic taught at your law school will be covered - please refer to the individual topics pages of our websites for a full list of topics covered by each guide.

How do these compare to other study guides?

Our notes are written by students, for students. They aren’t tedious textbooks – they’re written in order to get straight to the point and to help you answer exam questions in the way you’re meant to. They are constantly updated, constantly checked and constantly re-checked. We think we have the highest-quality, most-accurate notes on the market. We also have a large range – we cover far more modules than other student-style notes. 

Are you bringing out any more guides soon?

Yes. We’re always commissioning new guides and updating our current guides. You can find out more and keep up to date by liking our facebook page, which is where we post updates whenever new guides are brought out.

Do you sell individual chapters?

Our LPC Answered Core Modules guide, which covers the compulsory LPC modules, is sold as one complete book. Our electives guides are sold as individual guides.

Do you sell electronic copies of your notes?

Not yet. We’re currently working on a way to allow you to download copies but don’t expect it to be ready soon. We’ll update our facebook page when electronic copies become available, which you can find here.

Can I see a sample?

Yes. We have samples available here.

Do you sell guides to other courses?

We sell notes for GDL and LLB students: GDL Answered and LLB Answered. We do not currently sell BPTC notes.

We also sell notes for ACA and CFAB accountancy students through our related business, Accountancy Answered.

How often do you update your guides?

The law studied on the LPC changes frequently. We keep an eye on changes to the law and student feedback regarding how it is taught and aim to update our LPC guides as soon as possible - although we aim to catch any updates as soon as they come into force, we cannot guarantee to catch everything - especially since it takes time to publish and produce a new edition. Our Core Modules guide was last updated in July 2018. Our electives are updated on a rolling basis and are each typically updated once or twice a year. 

What delivery service do you use and how long does it take?

We use Royal Mail first or second class unregistered post, so you don’t need to be in to sign for it. It typically takes 3 to 4 working days although can be faster. Please email Olivia at sales@lawanswered.com if you have any questions.

What is your refund policy?

If your guide arrives damaged then we will of course offer you a full refund. Otherwise, we’ll accept all returns of guides within two weeks, as long as they reach us in a re-saleable condition (but please email us first via sales@lawanswered.com). You can find our full policy at the bottom of the checkout page before you confirm your purchase - or just send us an email asking for it at any time.

What is your privacy policy?

We will never sell your data on to third parties. The only data we’ll pass on is that which we need to fulfil your order (e.g. Royal Mail). We’ll treat all your information confidentially, as will our secure payment processing and fulfilment services. We will occasionally email you (e.g. updates or offers), but such emails will be rare and you can always ask us to remove you from our mailing list. I’m having technical issues with your checkout – what should I do?

If you are having technical problems with our "Add to cart"/"Checkout" function, this may be because you are using an outdated browser – updating your browser (or simply using a different browser to view our site) should solve this problem, but please contact us if it does not.
